When I joined Blend, the Brand Design team had just completed a comprehensive style guide. The updated guide included new colors, a refreshed logo, and innovative ways to use the Blend “B” as a pattern. However, these elements had yet to be fully integrated into our materials.
My first step was to assess the various types of marketing collateral consistently produced by the team. I then streamlined the design process by having the team update the look and feel of each piece, creating reusable templates that both our team and internal partners could leverage. These templates covered a wide range of assets, including Google Slides, Docs, one-pagers, customer stories, eBooks, social media posts, infographics, and more.
Additionally, we developed a cohesive design system for Blend’s website. This system was integral to the recent site overhaul, where we implemented reusable components to ensure a unified and consistent design experience across the site.
Key Achievements:
- 50% Reduction in Design and Production Time
The team now delivers projects in half the time, streamlining the entire workflow.
- 80% Reduction in Development Dependencies
The web redesign has minimized our reliance on development resources by 80%, enabling us to implement design and layout changes independently—previously, we could only make text edits.
